50 million DKR. in his pocket, 60 year old businessman Erik Svensson plans for a new life in Spain with his beautiful girlfriend, Helene. On the day of their departure, Svensson"s lawyer shows up in the airport with a letter from an ex-girlfriend. In the letter the ex-girlfriend states that their passionate affair 26 years ago resulted in a daughter. To find out if there is any truth to the story, Svensson hires the younger and somewhat unexperienced undertaker, Anders, as his driver. The odd couple begins a rather unusual journey searching for Svensson"s unknown daughter. A journey, which eventually ends up changing the life of everyone, involved.
