Film.com's FREE movie of the week is "Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror." This 1922 classic of cinema based on Bram Stoker's "Dracula" (but with names changed) directed by F.W. Murnau and starring Max Schrek in one of films most famous and frightening make-up jobs.
Three sailors on a 24-hour pass navigate New York, NY--that wonderful town--and come face-to-face, literally, with three its native inhabitants. Gabey falls hard for a "model" who poses for the Miss Turnstiles advertisements, thinking she's a high society deb. (She's really a "cooch" dancer at Coney Island). Chip gets high jacked by a horny lady cab driver, and Ozzie hooks up with a gorgeous anthropologist who thinks he's the perfect reincarnation of a "prehistoric man." Singing and dancing abound.
