Film.com's FREE movie of the week is "Love the Hard Way." Oscar-winner Adrien Brody and Charlotte Ayanna star in this drama about a thief who falls for a curious, beautiful young woman. As their intimacy grows, a slick cop (Pam Greer) is closing in.
Story begins with Rob picking up his sister, Karen, and her husband, John, at the airport. John is a drunk who arrives bleeding from a fall on the plane. Karen is just happy to be back in Dublin from their London home. The group is rounded out with the arrival of Kathy, Rob's current girlfriend who wants him to commit to the relationship. Over the weekend, secrets are unmasked that inspire changes in all the character's lives.
