Depressed and lonely, romance novel publisher Tomas tries to commit suicide. But just as he's about to jump he sees Tito, who is planning to do the same thing. Tomas saves Tito and Tito introduces him to his crazy family. Caught up in all the eccentricities of Tito's odd family and their small community, Tomas begins to understand what had Tito so confused.
