When Tang hears that his older brother is ill, he immediately plans to return from the town where he runs a restaurant to his home village. But the illness is false and he is about to fall into a trap set by the villagers. They have long believed that only a tenth son can kill the magical fish in their lake, and thus cure the leprosy that decimates their community. Tang has nine children and his wife is pregnant with the tenth, whom the villagers want as their savior.
