Film.com's FREE movie of the week is "Love the Hard Way." Oscar-winner Adrien Brody and Charlotte Ayanna star in this drama about a thief who falls for a curious, beautiful young woman. As their intimacy grows, a slick cop (Pam Greer) is closing in.
Chen and Lin comes from opposite sides of the tracks but end up working together within the close confines of a theater box office. They eventually begin to talk about topics ranging from boys, to sex, and menstruation. While a sexual encounter results from their growing closeness, the focus is mainly on society, family, and the individual.
