It’s Halloween, so we’re all about slashers and killer death scenes (in movies, of course).
So, needless to say, we were curious to see which iconic horror movie slasher has had the most kills over time. Is it “Friday the 13th”‘s Jason or “Nightmare on Elm Street”‘s Freddy or someone else entirely?
Our special infographic shows just this. The vertical axis reflects the total number of kills, and the horizontal axis reflects the years the slasher has been active. As time progresses, each slasher’s total body count rises, allowing one to compare murder rates at various points in movie history.
