Film.com's FREE movie of the week is "Love the Hard Way." Oscar-winner Adrien Brody and Charlotte Ayanna star in this drama about a thief who falls for a curious, beautiful young woman. As their intimacy grows, a slick cop (Pam Greer) is closing in.
Clocking the demise of popular Moravian-born actress, Miroslava, who had emigrated to Mexico City with her parents during World War II, and had appeared in around two dozen films before taking her own life at the age of 25 in 1955. The film suggests that a failed marriage, the loss of her mother to cancer, and a subsequent disasterous affair with Spanish bullfighter Luis Miguel Dominguin contributed to her downward spiral.
