Amir is an illegal Pakistani immigrant in Paris, working for businessman Jo. But Jo never gets around to filing papers to let Amir work legally, and finally he trades him with a friend to pay off a gambling debt. Now Amir must work for Ralph, a much less successful businessman. However, soon Ralph's business is a huge success - could it be that his change of fortune has anything to do with his Pakistani helper?
