Unlike her friends, a secretary is determined to stay single and have a career. She doesn't get too close to her boyfriend, who is nice but lacks ambition. She gets her chance at a career when she invents a hangover cure, and soon she is climbing the corporate ladder. Then she falls for an advertising man, who is engaged to a girl who cheats on him. Meanwhile, her boyfriend is still in love with her.
