Christmas is approaching, and apparently perfect wife and mother Giulia snaps, abandons her squabbling family, and heads south to her home town of Trani. There, her mother is planning her annual tryst with her French lover, and Giulia meets an old flame. Soon, the whole family comes to Trani to confront Giulia, and long-kept secrets are exposed.
