On the slopes of the Bolivian Andes, a group of indomitable local women organize a female championship of "lucha libre"--the equivalent of American wrestling--confronting the indifference and prejudices of the whole country. But they soon become the public's darlings and find themselves having to face a much more unpalatable battle, this time against jealousy and those who want to exploit their victorious image.
