Macbeth in Manhattan

When lovers and aspiring actors Claudia and Max audition for a production of "Macbeth" and she gets the coveted role of Lady Macbeth, but he ends up getting the secondary role of Macduff, a jealousy ensues where real life begins to imitate the play. More famous actor William gains the role of Macbeth, and as in the play, Max is beset with jealousy. While the bloody play is proceeding on-stage in auditions, the actors are reliving its emotions backstage.
