Monica is a young woman, born in Argentina, who lives happily with her parents in Spain. Her quiet life changes one day with the arrival of Bruno Liardi, a man who claims to be her grandfather. Pulling Monica's past out into the light, Bruno tells her that her real parents were murdered, victims of Argentina's 1970s military dictatorship.
