Assigned to a boring desk job after a conflict with his superiors, police officer Johan Falk misses working on the streets. Accepting an offer from his former colleagues, Falk goes to work for a private protection agency. His first assignment turns personal when a group of gangsters kidnap businessman Sven's wife Jeanette. An old friend of his, Falk and his men must do everything they can to rescue her.
