Film.com's FREE movie of the week is "Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror." This 1922 classic of cinema based on Bram Stoker's "Dracula" (but with names changed) directed by F.W. Murnau and starring Max Schrek in one of films most famous and frightening make-up jobs.
A story centering around Edward, an enigmatic, emotionally troubled British publishing executive who receives a new manuscript--set in 1960 Tunisia--from his old friend, Nicolas. Upon close examination of the script, Edward surmises that his "friend" is directly responsible for the tragic loss of his sole love, a Tunisian woman who committed suicide following her rape; thusly Edward slowly begins to plot literary revenge against this friend-turned-fiend.
