Philippe and Jean-Marc are lovers and restauranteurs on the verge of banckruptcy who have just recieved bad news from Philippe's mother. They must repay the money she lent them to start the restaurant. With few other prospects, they invite their friends to a party in the vain hope of interesting one of them to invest. During the party, one of the guests decides to order an escort to liven things up a bit. When the party finally breaks up, leaving Jean-Marc alone, the emotionally distraught escort Steve, shows up. Soon the comfortable and predictable lives of Philippe and Jean-Marc are thrown into turmoil by their unexpected guest, and they're forced to re-evaluated their own lives and relationships.
