In a world and an era of sadness and poverty of spirit, in which new diseases are making their appearance, Andrea is a healer. He cures bodies that are subject to symptoms which are increasingly strange and unexpected. After one terrible day's work, Andrea decides to give up his activities. The following night, the healer meets an old friend whom he has not seen for a long time. His friend asks him to help him forget the woman he loved, who is no longer alive.
