In 1920s Paris, a Belgian club owner gets in trouble with a powerful gangster when he falls for his chanteuse girlfriend. After then being wrongly accused of killing two gendarmes, the Belgian exercises his only option--a five year stint in the French Foreign Legion. Marching through the deserts of Morocco, the Legion is pitted against a Berber tribe and, after surviving the odds, the Belgian returns to Paris to exact revenge on the gangster.
