Le Dernier Des Fous

The break-up of a peasant family as seen through the eyes of an 11-year-old. The mother lives in her room as a recluse. The older brother drinks heavily. His father, dominated by the grandmother, is a powerless witness to the destruction of his family. The boy, although comforted a little by the Moroccan maid and the presence of his cat, decides to put an end to the family chaos.
