Herve Radius, tallies of an oil company, precipitates his young mistress in a river after having afight with her. A witness, Victor, helps him and decides to make a song about it. They have a deal: Victor can remain living in Herves house if he doesn’t make the song official. Victor dies accidentally. Herve hides Victors body in his refrigerator. Soon the inspector rings his bell who is not as idiotic as it was thought. Herve leaves to search people he can use as his alibi.
