Film.com's FREE movie of the week is "Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror." This 1922 classic of cinema based on Bram Stoker's "Dracula" (but with names changed) directed by F.W. Murnau and starring Max Schrek in one of films most famous and frightening make-up jobs.
Thirtysomething Gabriel is in romantic transition from Jenny to Anne, while at his job as a literary editor much of his time and emotional energy is spent on his slightly older friend Adrien, a formerly "promising" novelist whose recent output fails to match the critical and commercial success of his earlier work. As Adrien's physical illness becomes more and more pronounced, the small world of Gabriel and his circle of friends is put into delicate emotional perspective.
