An old man is taken to the emergency room after being struck by lightning. When everyone in the hospital leaves work, it is Yan who stays to help. Suddenly every doctor from every department rushes back to treat the old man. It turns out he is the hospital's biggest donor - Sir Kau Kei Ho - who wants to reform the hospital and hands Yan the responsibility. Jim joins her to try to make a difference. But soon his determination wears off, once he encounters opposition from his colleagues and the management.
