Nobody understood the reams of drawings Alicia churned out as a girl, even though they are clearly modeled on Lewis Carroll's "Alice in Wonderland." So, she collects the tears of her disappointment in numerous jars, but that isn't the only sign that Alicia has grown up to be rather strange. Despite the fact that she's about to marry hunky Fabian, she continues to dress like her namesake Alice, down to the white socks and slippers. As publisher of a hip Mexico City magazine called "Bang!," Fabian would appear to be quite the catch, except he can't keep it in his pants. And it is his conniving editor, Ana, who manages to videotape one of their lovemaking sessions at work. To make matters worse, Ana then secretly hires a stripper for Alicia's bridal shower which sets off a whole series of events that guarantee that Alicia and Fabian won't be going to the altar.
