Film.com's FREE movie of the week is "Love the Hard Way." Oscar-winner Adrien Brody and Charlotte Ayanna star in this drama about a thief who falls for a curious, beautiful young woman. As their intimacy grows, a slick cop (Pam Greer) is closing in.
Antoine, a cafe dwelling, intellectual, would-be writer, accustomed to loving and then leaving women, is dumped by his grilfriend. As a literary experiment he and an editor friend cook up a scheme in which Antoine makes a young woman fall in love with him, and then dumps her after the first night of lovemaking, while he keeps a writerly diary of the affair for publication.
