Far too shy to say anything to each other, they savour instead a long, slow kiss to the strains of an Aretha Franklin ballad. Philippe, however, doesn't feel he's ready for this kind of love affair yet and would much rather emulate his friend Marc. Marc introduces Philippe to his gang of cronies all attempting to outdo each other's outlandish behaviour at the drugstore where they hang out. Before long, the once shy Philippe turns into a real lady killer and, in no time at all, the girls are putty in his hands. One of his female admirers is Natalie, whom he has known since childhood and who just so happens to be Charlotte's best friend.
