Film follows a group of elderly German gay men. They spend much of their time in a gay bar, where they reminisce about the old days and meet young prostitutes. In interview, they recall how they survived the Third Reich, hiding their sexualities and sometimes taking great risks together. The dangers of the past are reflected in the homophobia they still encounter in the present.
