Film.com's FREE movie of the week is "Love the Hard Way." Oscar-winner Adrien Brody and Charlotte Ayanna star in this drama about a thief who falls for a curious, beautiful young woman. As their intimacy grows, a slick cop (Pam Greer) is closing in.
Frankie's a macho Italian-American guy from the Bronx all ready to propose to his girlfriend until he comes home and catches her in bed with his brother. Disillusioned, Frankie decides to change his life by moving to Manhattan and becoming an actor. He answers an apartment ad and, mistakenly thinking that "GWM" means "Guy With Money," winds up rooming with Warren, a gay choreographer. Needless to say, it's a learning experience for both men.
