Film.com's FREE movie of the week is "Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror." This 1922 classic of cinema based on Bram Stoker's "Dracula" (but with names changed) directed by F.W. Murnau and starring Max Schrek in one of films most famous and frightening make-up jobs.
"Killer: A Journal of Murder" chronicles the remarkable relationship that develops between two men in the 1920s--Carl Panzram, an intelligent yet ruthlessly vicious Leavenworth prison inmate who is one of America's first serial murderers, and Henry Lesser, the sympathetic guard who encourages Panzram to write about his life experiences. Based on a true story, the men's struggle to understand each other results in a written, and now cinematic, legacy: a raw, unedited exploration into the psyche of a "killer."
