Film.com's FREE movie of the week is "Love the Hard Way." Oscar-winner Adrien Brody and Charlotte Ayanna star in this drama about a thief who falls for a curious, beautiful young woman. As their intimacy grows, a slick cop (Pam Greer) is closing in.
Thomas is a nervous young tailor who lives under the shadow of his domineering father, who was also a tailor and who prefers his daughter Vera to Thomas. He becomes gradually more paranoid. Finally he sinks into insanity and murder under the pressure of trying to take measurements only "by eye" and of competing with a manipulative, better-skilled seamstress.
