Jonas Brothers Get Game Face On For Thanksgiving Day
Pamela Sitt October 13, 2008

It’s not the Super Bowl, but it’s a start: The Jonas Brothers will play the halftime show on Thanksgiving Day when the Dallas Cowboys take on the Seattle Seahawks.
Personally, I was rooting for Jessica Simpson to get the gig, if only because Cowboys fans would basically lose their minds and that would be entertaining. I’m sure they’ve figured out a way to blame Jessica for quarterback Tony Romo’s pinky injury by now. He’s out for four weeks after a crushing overtime loss to the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday. I’m sure Jessica is taking good care of him at home.
Meantime, the Jonas Brothers are growing up and learning about the travails of having their love lives play out in public. Nick Jonas is probably still recovering from that Miley Cyrus-Selena Gomez Disney love triangle, and older brother Joe is rumored to be dating country star Taylor Swift. As long as they leave Janet Jackson out of it, I think they’ll be OK.
