Ramses is part of a strange religious sect who believe in body piercing without anasthetic. When his father is dying and his sister needs Ramses' consent to end his life-support, she has to come and find him in his commune. Taken out of the confining environment, he begins to change some of his ideas, and in the process falls for Natasja's roommate. But his guru hasn't given up on him, and is determined to win him back to the cult.
