synopsis
The story of three people whose live intermingle in interesting ways. Yuppie Eva is going out with unemployed Adrian. She works for a TV production company and has just had a baby. Alba is on a sex and alchohol bender after being dumped by her boyfriend. Juan is about to be married to Isabel, a shopping obsessed maniac. Somehow, Eva befriends Juan and hires Alba to babysit, leaving her more time for a life and the possibility of a meaningful romance.

Al Pacino plays a cop who can't sleep, which gives the advantage to the killer (Robin Williams) he's chasing across the frozen tundra. Director Christopher Nolan follows Memento with another suspense triumph that brings out the best in Pacino and Williams.
