Film.com's FREE movie of the week is "Love the Hard Way." Oscar-winner Adrien Brody and Charlotte Ayanna star in this drama about a thief who falls for a curious, beautiful young woman. As their intimacy grows, a slick cop (Pam Greer) is closing in.
Centers on Lucas, a hard-working singer from the 1990s who, ten years later, becomes the king of the new French pop-rock scene by appropriating the songs of his friend Thomas, who has disappeared. However, Thomas later reappears and so begins five days of hell for Lucas as he tries to hide his immense fame from him.
