After several bad breakups with white women, black comic book artist Jay Brooks decides to date only women of his own race, launching “Operation Brown Sugar.” After failing with the black women too, Jay begins seeing a mixed-race, “Halfrican-Canadian” writer. With race is no longer a factor, Jay feels that he may have found the love of his life and has to face his commitment issues or lose her.
