Tira, a performer in a seedy circus, lives with Wiley, but still allows herself plenty of time for other men. When Wiley runs afoul of the law, Tira secures extra money by becoming a lion tamer. When Tira is courted by playboy Kirk Lawrence, she willingly accepts his gifts and other favors, but she only has eyes for Taylor's cousin Jack Clayton.
