Film.com's FREE movie of the week is "Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror." This 1922 classic of cinema based on Bram Stoker's "Dracula" (but with names changed) directed by F.W. Murnau and starring Max Schrek in one of films most famous and frightening make-up jobs.
Will Graham, the fierce and intelligent London gangster, has retreated to the forest to escape the crime life. He is always in control and always on the edge. Will is the haunted center around which the other characters circle: Helen, his jaded, more refined, former lover--a chic restaurateur; Jonathan Rhys Meyers, his charming, degenerate brother Davey, whose devastating death causes Will to face the temptations of the city again, and Boad, the complex villain and the film's catalyst. When he returns from the wilderness to uncover the truth about his brother’s suicide, it becomes a quest that leads him into the darker reaches of menace and perversion, and into the arms of Helen.
