Delilah begins a romance with Ryland Yale, a self-destructive rock musician who she sees as kindred spirit. However, his heroin addiction gets in the way of their romance and Delilah soon turns to a former female lover for support. She finally comes to the conclusion that she must be self-reliant in order to survive.
