What time is it? High School Musical 3 time! And on the big screen, too! Having lovingly laughed my way through the first two films, I cannot wait to enjoy the third away from my sofa with a theater full of HSM fans. And the part I'm looking forward to the most? Not the songs, not the dancing and definitely not the easing of sexual tension between Troy and Gabriella -- but the costumes. Don't get me wrong, I am not taking cues for my 2009 wardrobe based on Wildcats' style, but I am eager to see how the already over-the-top looks (Sharpay in pink and pleather?) translate to the big screen.

The costumes in High School Musical are all about fantasy. It's like Sex and the City for tweens. The fashion isn't realistic or practical, but boy, is it fun to look at. And just like the Sex and the City movie, you can expect more costume changes, bigger and better looks and event fashion. Rumor has it Sharpay (Ashley Tisdale) is dressed in the boldest of colors -- fuschia, cobalt blue and metallics -- while Gabriella (Vanessa Hudgens) develops a more bohemian style throughout the film. And of course, we get the Disney equivalent of Carrie Bradshaw's wedding -- senior prom. Matching peach ensembles, anyone? It doesn't get any better than this.

I, for one, will be at the theater basking in the cheesy glow of it all. Don't judge me. I watch High School Musical ironically. So let me go ahead and sing -- er sign off with what's left of my dignity. Oh forget it. I love you, Zac Efron!
