When Hercules' mother, the mortal Alcmene, is mysteriously carried away to Mount Olympus by the all-powerful Zeus, Hercules' jealous stepmother Hera plots to take over Olympus with the aid of the Titans, super-beings who have been imprisoned under the earth ever since Zeus defeted them eons ago. An ancient prophecy says that only a champion of mortal blood can defeat the Titans, but both the mighty Hercules and the formidable Warrior Princess Xena refuse to help the gods until fate, as well as the threat of a world ruled by Titans, brings them together to fight the ultimate battle on Mount Olympus.
