38-year-old Corinna has a stable life, two daughters, a career as a fashion illustrator, and a satisfying lover. Her life is thrown into disarray, however, when her lover dumps her and she is forced to have a mastectomy to remove a malignant tumor. She begins to doubt her happiness and her attractiveness to men. Further complicating matters, she is now torn between the possibility of forming a new relationship with her handsome neighbor or settling for a marriage of convience to her longtime friend.
