On her 50th birthday, Giulia discovers that old age renders you invisible. Retail therapy ostensibly helps, but then she meets a stranger who she chooses to spend time with over her friends. This leaves Giulia's friends waiting in a restaurant and reflecting on their own increasing number of wrinkles. Two of them, Jessica and Fatima, are in a shopping mood too, though, in their own particular way. Meanwhile, on her 80th birthday, Leonie rebels against her daughter and gleefully sabotages her own birthday party.
