Documentary about the huge protest that followed when a private corporation began to clear a rainforest in Clayquot Sound. Nearly 900 women blockaded the road, in what became the largest act of civil disobedience in Canadian history. The women involved ranged from children to grandmothers, and for many this was their first directly political intervention.
