Three women friends set off for Spain, all with some kind of romantic agenda. Gabriele is pregnant, and is traveling to Barcelona to marry her Spanish lover. Renate comes along to esape her boring partner, and younger Sophie to escape an unrequited love. Along the way, Gabriele cofesses the baby is not her fiancee's, and both Renate's boyfriend and Sophie's object off affection turn up unexpectedly.
