Film.com's FREE movie of the week is "Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror." This 1922 classic of cinema based on Bram Stoker's "Dracula" (but with names changed) directed by F.W. Murnau and starring Max Schrek in one of films most famous and frightening make-up jobs.
Bill is an unemployed writer who has lately taken to following strangers at random on the street. One day, Cobb, a man Bill has been following, catches him in the act. Cobb reveals he has a transgressive daily routine of his own: he is a burgler. He invites Bill to join him. Soon Bill is spending his time breaking into peoples homes with Cobb and having lunch on stolen credit cards. In Cobb, Bill finds a strange companionship -- part mentor, part confessor, and part evil twin. When Bill gets involved with a woman whose house the two have previously burgled, Bill becomes entwined in something much larger and more horrifying than petty crime.
