Film.com's FREE movie of the week is "Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror." This 1922 classic of cinema based on Bram Stoker's "Dracula" (but with names changed) directed by F.W. Murnau and starring Max Schrek in one of films most famous and frightening make-up jobs.
Sam is a sophisticated young New York executive who, playing hooky from the corporate status quo, impulsively takes the train to its last stop in New Haven and finds herself in a local dive. In walks Cole, a working class rogue with leading man looks who's running away from his own life for reasons he is careful not to divulge but include a self-defense murder. Their attraction is instant, and the two head off together. As they hit the road toward Maine, the two lovers reveal more than they intend to, as several on their tail, including some career criminals, two hapless detectives, and one very jilted ex-girlfriend, try to catch up with them.
