Film.com's FREE movie of the week is "Love the Hard Way." Oscar-winner Adrien Brody and Charlotte Ayanna star in this drama about a thief who falls for a curious, beautiful young woman. As their intimacy grows, a slick cop (Pam Greer) is closing in.
Set in the 18th century, story follows the relationship between two adolescent royals, King Ferdinand of Spain and Princess Mary-Carolina of Austria who are forced into wedlock for national interests. Ferdinand has already lost two wives, and is having a happy affair with the Princess of Medina. Nonetheless, he is married to Carolina and the two find they share a passion for life.
