Quiet high school student Eric spends his evenings spying on his neighbors through a set of binoculars. Keeping notes on everyone he watches, Eric then interferes in their lives sending them anonymous messages. Unable to connect with his distant mother or stepfather, Eric ignores the attentions of everyone who cares about him and falls deeper into his own voyeurism.
