Film.com's FREE movie of the week is "Love the Hard Way." Oscar-winner Adrien Brody and Charlotte Ayanna star in this drama about a thief who falls for a curious, beautiful young woman. As their intimacy grows, a slick cop (Pam Greer) is closing in.
As an accomplished British Secret Sevice agent, The Eye employs all of his investigative know-how and technical wizardry to capture serial killer Joanna Eris. But before he realizes what's happening, The Eye becomes obsessed with his subject and instead of apprehending her, begins to stalk her. Soon he has followed Eris to the US, where he discovers her lover and a host of other characters from her life. As his sanity degrades further, The Eye murders a man out of extreme jealousy. Eventually, Eris is won over by her obsessive stalker and the two reconcile in an Alaskan diner called 'The End of the World.'
