synopsis
Known for providing their wealthy clients with whatever footage it takes to sell a product--even if it means kayaking over a 110-foot waterfall or dangling by a harness from a helicopter--advertising executive Jeffrey, director Ian and cameraman Will agree to make a seemingly impossible commercial for a new digital video camera. Their mission: to show three expert skiers outrunning an avalanche. Heading for the Austrian Alps with beautiful downhill gold medalist Chloe, wild-child snowboarder Kittie and 19-year-old overall daredevil Silo, the film crew sets up in an unfinished resort perched 12,000 feet atop a mountain in the Austrian Karawanken Range on the border of Yugoslavia. But they are not alone. Serbian war criminal Pavle, who recently faked his death in a plane crash, is hiding out with his exotic girlfriend Yana, his son Slavko and a gang of terrorists determined to complete their horrible mission--even if it means murdering anyone who gets in the way.
Other reviews
When a film crew heads to an unfinished Austrian resort high in the Alps to shoot the ultimate action commercial they end up fighting for their lives--and saving the world from a Serbian war criminal. Sure, makes perfect sense. Story Extreme Ops should be a James Bond movie. Then at least we'd expect the ridiculous plot--plus we'd see some sex. Alas, the film takes itself too seriously and those wacky opportunities are simply missed. As it stands, a crew of commercial filmmakers--director Ian
